![]() This unit is causing such a stir, my god, lol! So, for some users maybe the MPC Studio 2 will be more appealing because it has more buttons and hardware control, so it is depended less on the screen. But and in this case, this unit has a different workflow than the MPC Standalone units. Of course, if you have the MPC One or the Live, this won't add that much to your workflow. will we see a new stand alone mpc that follows this button layout/shortcuts and touch strip?Īre the new shortcuts down to feed back on where the future lays for a next step on mpc?It comes with the full version of the MPC software which now includes 8 synths. that's going to be a bit of a headache in re-learning stuff. No audio interface so you might need to buy one for sampling your own things.Īs a stepping stone for mpc beats it's pretty good, though if you go on to add say an mpc live all your shortcuts are different. Major downside though is apparently the shortcuts are all different on this compared to mpc one, live, live ii, x so flip flopping from this to a stand alone MPC is going to be painful. ![]() Tiny screen that can show 1 parameter only I've watched a few vids now on YT from people not akai and my take away is:Ĭheap way to upgrade from mpc beats to gain a hardware mpcįeeling connection to the mpc softwere full version.
